The PLX-500 features the same layout as the professional PLX-1000 turntable and delivers a warm, clear analog sound. This turntable is ideal for anyone starting out with vinyl or looking to enjoy their record collection at home. Built for durability, it offers excellent vibration damping and precise audio playback. The high-torque motor and USB output make it easy to digitize your vinyl collection using the free rekordbox software. You can also pair the PLX-500 with the rekordbox dvs Plus Pack, a compatible mixer, and the RB-VS1-K Control Vinyl to play and scratch digital files. Like the PLX-1000, it’s designed to deliver high-quality vinyl sound, with the shortest possible audio routing from stylus to outputs to reduce distortion. The phono/line output switch lets you connect directly to your sound system or powered speakers—no external amplifier needed. Technical specifications include a single USB B port, one PHONO/LINE (RCA) output, and a universal S-shape tone arm with gimbal support and static balance. The overhang measures 16 mm, with an effective length of 230.5 mm and a tracking error within 3 degrees. The height adjustment range is 6 mm and stylus pressure is adjustable from 0–4 g (with 0.1 g increments). It supports cartridges under 9.5 g and uses a VMDrive cartridge with a servo-type direct drive method. This Austin Bazaar bundle adds even more value to your purchase, including compact DM-50 5-inch Bluetooth monitors for high-quality audio with a front-loaded bass reflex system and DECO technology for a wider sweet spot.
