The rp-1000 Mk2 is the perfect turntable for aspiring DJs and HiFi enthusiasts alike. This upgraded Mk2 model introduces a newly developed top panel and enhanced metallic buttons that offer a satisfying tactile response. Unlike direct-drive systems, the rp-1000 Mk2 uses a belt-driven motor to separate the drive unit from the precisely engineered platter and chassis. Its high-quality, elastic rubber belt effectively absorbs unwanted vibrations, ensuring distortion-free playback. Fine pitch adjustments are easy with the adjustable pitch control, offering a range of +/-10%. The statically balanced S-shaped tone arm features a hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism, while the universal SME connection allows for compatibility with a wide range of pick-up cartridges. The sleek, deep-black top panel is equipped with metallic buttons for start/stop and speed settings, all designed for clear haptic feedback. For low-light environments, an extendable aluminum target light lets you easily see the needle’s position at the push of a button. The robust construction, optimized damping, and shock-absorbing feet provide excellent protection from unwanted vibrations. The rp-1000 Mk2 comes ready to play, with a high-quality OM black pick-up, handmade by Ortofon in Denmark, pre-mounted on the head shell.
