The RP-2000 MK2 is a reliable turntable ideal for aspiring DJs, offering a range of enhancements in its MK2 version. Its newly developed deep-black metallic top panel features improved metallic buttons for start/stop and speed settings, providing precise tactile feedback for confident operation. The robust direct drive motor delivers its force directly to the drive hub, ensuring higher torque and faster power on the precision-engineered die-cast platter, with minimal wow and flutter compared to belt-driven models. Pitch adjustments are easy and accurate with an adjustable control range of +/- 8%. The statically balanced s-shaped tone arm includes a hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism, while the universal SME connection allows compatibility with a wide variety of pick-up cartridges. For visibility in low-light environments, an extendable aluminum target light lets you see the needle position at the press of a button. The RP-2000 MK2’s sturdy housing, enhanced damping, and shock-absorbing feet effectively isolate the turntable from unwanted vibrations. It comes equipped with a high-quality OM Black pick-up, handmade by Ortofon in Denmark and pre-mounted on a headshell, so you can start playing records right away. The RP-2000 USB MK2 version also makes digitizing your vinyl collection simple thanks to its high-resolution USB connection—no driver installation required. It features a built-in phono pre-amp for line-level output and eliminates the need for grounding, streamlining both setup and operation.
