Engineered for outstanding sound reproduction under the rigors of professional use, the AT-LP1240-USB XP features a robust direct-drive 16-pole, three-phase motor for rapid startup, rock-solid speed stability, smooth back-cueing, forward and reverse play, and whisper-quiet operation at 33-1/3, 45, or 78 RPM. The precision S-shaped tone arm offers adjustable tracking force (counterweight) and anti-skate settings, and comes equipped with the AT-HS1 universal 1/2"-mount headshell and AT-XP5 DJ phono cartridge. Designed with DJs in mind, this turntable includes a damped cast-aluminum platter with stroboscopic speed markings and slip mat, illuminated speed indicator, adjustable pitch control, dual start/stop buttons, a removable stylus target light, dedicated tone arm grounding lug, hydraulically damped lift lever, and a locking tone arm rest for secure transport. You can easily digitize your vinyl with Audacity or other compatible third-party software, converting your records to MP3, WAV, or other digital audio formats.
