Description
Unlike the Alesis format, which uses a single snake for both inputs and outputs, Tascam and Fostex digital multitracks use a 25-pin D-Sub connector and require two snakes—one for inputs and one for outputs. For balanced 1/4 in. phone connections at the console, use the DTP803: a 25-pin D-Sub to 8 balanced 1/4 in. phone, 3m (9.9 ft.) cable.
