Switching between signal sources and monitors is a routine task in any studio, and the Palmer MONICON XL makes it effortless. With its ergonomic console design and two clearly organized control levels, this monitor controller serves as an intuitive nerve center for all your audio routing needs. Selecting audio sources and loudspeakers is quick and convenient at the touch of a button. The MONICON XL is equipped with three analog stereo inputs, a S/PDIF input, and outputs for three monitor pairs—each with its own dedicated volume controller for precise level calibration. An additional mono summed full-range output allows you to connect a mono monitor or subwoofer with ease. A standout feature of the MONICON XL is its correlation meter, which shows the phase difference between the left and right channels of your stereo signal, making it simple to identify mono-compatibility issues in your mixes. The controller can also be tailored to fit your personal workflow. Thanks to its fully analog audio circuit, the MONICON XL delivers zero latency and no signal distortion. Designed for professional studio environments, it includes essential features such as two headphone outputs with individual volume controls and main cue selector switches, a cue master controller, and an on/off talkback microphone with volume control. The unit also features a mute button and a dim button with adjustable volume, allowing you to instantly reduce monitor levels by a preset amount.
