Transmit 4 Channels of Analog Audio Over Cat 5 or Cat 6 The Radial Catapult MINI TX is a clever solution for sending four channels of analog audio through a standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. When paired with the Catapult MINI RX, it transforms a regular Ethernet cable into a 4-channel analog audio snake. Just connect a shielded Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable between the two modules, and they’ll use the cable’s analog conductors to deliver four balanced audio lines wherever you need them. The MINI TX operates passively with straight-wire analog circuitry—no digital conversion involved. At Sweetwater, we've even used the MINI TX to send audio across a building’s existing Ethernet wiring. Set up a performer, mic, and preamp in one room and route the signal to your DAW in another—it’s never been easier to transmit audio between distant locations!
