Receive 4 Channels of Analog Audio Over Cat 5 or Cat 6 Cable The Radial Catapult MINI RX is a clever solution for transmitting analog audio. When paired with the Catapult MINI TX, it lets you turn a standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable into a 4-channel analog snake. Just connect a shielded Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable between the two units, and they’ll carry four balanced audio channels wherever you need them. The MINI RX uses passive, straight-wire operation, so your audio stays completely analog with no digital conversion. At Sweetwater, we’ve also used the MINI RX to receive audio through a building’s existing cable infrastructure—making it simple to send signals from a performer, mic, and preamp in one room to your DAW in another. Sending audio between distant rooms has never been easier!
