Description
A snare crack. An arpeggiated chord. A soaring saxophone solo. On stage or in the studio, the music you create connects with your audience on a deeply emotional level. To capture that power, you need a mic that can keep up. In any acoustic setting, the SM57 delivers every nuance of your playing to every listener. What makes the SM57 stand out? It’s the top choice for professional musicians looking to mic up amplified or acoustic instruments—guitar amps, bass amps, saxophones, trumpets, or drums. Used on stages and in studios worldwide, it features a contoured frequency response with a presence rise that helps your instrument cut through the mix. Its highly effective cardioid pickup pattern focuses on the main sound source, recording exactly what you aim it at while rejecting sound from the rear.
