Mackie Thump TH15A 2-Way Active Loudspeaker (400 Watts, 1x15 in.)

Feature:
The built-in EQ comes in very handy. I play a lot of very different rooms both in size and tone.

Quality:
I've used it now for a year and it still looks new. Much better than my JBL which scuffed up and looked bad.

Value:
For the price it can't be beat!

Desirability:
The system looks great - all black.

Sound:
This powered speaker works great. The sound quality is as good as my JBL's.

Ease of Use:
Light! Compared to my JBL's this speaker system is easy to move without straining my back. The built-in power amp has never let me down and delivered distortion free results.

Support:
No need for support.

Overall:
A year on the road and it's just like new. I'm about to expand and will buy more of them. Can't go wrong with the unit.

JBL PRX615M 2-Way Powered Speaker (1000 Watts, 1x15 in.)

""Big Bang not a Theory""

Feature:
It has two pole holes one holds the speaker straight forward the other hole allow the the speaker to slightly tilt downward towards the floor,allowing for greater impact on the audiance,while the speakers are elevated The weight of these speakers are great

Quality:
Well put together speaker. Solid Speaker. Light weight. Nice looking spaeker & grille real smart looking cabinet

Value:
worth the price

Desirability:
Weight, Grille & Style & little blue light make it sexy

Sound:
The PRX615M really does the job,plenty of crisp sound with excellent Bass. I was running two JBL EONG2 and a JBL JR 118S Sub together,now with 615M (2) I don't miss my old setup.

Ease of Use:
Just plug it in and play. Ease of use.

Support:
Never had to use it

Overall:
I Love these Speakers, I'm not changing if anything, I would add additional Sub JBL PRX (For large venues)

QSC K12 2-Way Powered Speaker (1000 Watts, 1x12 in.)

"The best product out there for it's size."

Feature:
Gives you option for EQ which is great if you are doing a smaller venue and don't want to drag a sub in.

Quality:
So far they seems to be very well made. The handles are very sturdy.

Value:
Expensive for the size, but for the sound they are better than the more expensive competitors like JBL.

Desirability:
Because of the size it doesn't intimidate certain venue owners.

Sound:
They have the clearest sound of all speakers I testing including Mackies, JBL and EV.

Ease of Use:
Very lightweight compared to the older versions making them easy to handle and putting up on poles. You have to read the manual for the different input options, but it was pretty easy.

Support:
Haven't used it. The 6 year warranty is something that the other brands doesn't even come close to.

Overall:
The build quality, 6 year warranty, Sound quality above the competitors make this the best option out there for small to medium venues.

Mackie SRM450v2 2-Way (1x12 in.) Active PA Speaker

"all i can say is WOW!"

Feature:
I was hesitant to buy these because of the blue color and the price but honestly I needed to stop carrying my amp rack and heavy passive speakers. The dark blue can only be noticed in daylight but they look great, at night they blend in and look like black speakers.

Quality:
So far they are solid, i have experience with the old SRM450 and the actual enclosure is the same, just a different color. Why re-invent the wheel when you know you have an amazing product! They only changed what they needed to change.

Value:
The price is not too bad but i feel they are worth it!

Desirability:
If you want to receive compliments from your audience and lighten your carrying load when traveling, these are the perfect speakers for you!

Sound:
Oh my! I could not believe how clear these babies sound when I play EVERY style of music through them (no matter what volume). These sound a lot clearer than the original SRM450 and are noticeably lighter (big plus). I pushed them hard for over 4 hours when I first got them in and there was barely any heat coming from the amp on the back (room temperature was about 78 degrees). I have not seen the peak light turn on no matter how loud I put them and the sound is AMAZING! I recommend a subwoofer to fill in the bass but even alone they hit hard as low as 55hz.

Ease of Use:
Just plug a signal and power cord and you are good to go! No need for crossovers or ANY equalizer, it is all built in!

Support:
I have not had any problems yet and i hope that stays that way.

Overall:
I am very satisfied with my purchase and will most likely buy another pair in the future. If you have any thoughts or questions about the new Mackie SRM450v2, just ask me!

JBL EON 515XT Powered 2-Way Loudspeaker (625 Watts, 1x15 in.)

"BAD ASS! "

Quality:
It is hard to answer this after a short time but the JBL reputation says alot. It seems very solid and looks great. I have ordered a bag to carry it in to avoid any scratches on the sleek exterior.

Value:
I am very pleased with the value, even if I could only afford one right now. With my show sounding better than ever hopefully I will have to buy a second soon enough!

Desirability:
Sleek and sexy. Hell, I bought a $150 bag for her so she keeps her beautiful finish. The white light in the front is cool as well.

Sound:
I do an acoustic act at mostly mid-size bars. I have used this twice now and could not be happier. It was between two lesser speakers or one 515XT. I chose the 515XT and sincerely believe I made the right choice. Granted it has only been out twice, but the one XT has been more than enough for both of the rooms! I didn't even have to turn the speaker volume past 5. The clarity of my guitar and my vocals are superb. I go through a direct box into a Yamaha MG82CX. The mix is great.

Ease of Use:
Can't get any easier.

Overall:
For what I do I can't imagine needign to upgrade. I could ounly see buying another or more!
