Guitar amps are an essential part of a guitar setup. Below are the 5 best guitar amps reviewed.

"I just love it!"
Feature:
I thought that this amp would be far to clean for me and not have enough tweakability but it is absolutely stunning. Has all the features that I could ever want.
Quality:
Fender = great quality, what more can I say.
Value:
Great value. I dont really need this much power but because it was cheaper than more powerful alternatives I went with this unit. Low cost clearly doesnt mean low quality. Fantastic value for money.
Desirability:
Great build quality but not really the best looking unit. For me, the power, sound quality and build quality are enough to make it desirable.
Sound:
I just love the sound out of this amp. The clean channel is great. An array of sounds are available from the gain channel and you can control just how much bite you want.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use, I was proficient in its use within a day.
Support:
Never had to deal with them myself but I know others who have said that Fenders support channels are second to none.
Overall:
This is my amp for life now....Or until I get bored and decide I want another one!
Usual Price: $300

"the "SWISS ARMY KNIFE" of amps!!"
Feature:
I wish it came with the footswitch but it is midi so if you have one you can use it. Otherwise it has more as many features that anyone really needs. Effects, hell yeah! If you were to by them separately you would probably spend more than on the amp itself.
Quality:
Well built and clean design with that cool window that lights up that i use to display different things at gigs for fun.
Value:
This has to be the best value of any head out there period. What ever else can do what this does for the price must be a secret to the world.
Desirability:
Well if you try this i know you would want one around because it does it all and sounds awesome.
Sound:
the only reason i am giving the spidervalve mkII a nine is it is a modeling amp and there are still modeling artifacts that are not quite organic as a "tube tone" originating amplifier. Otherwise it is a ten as an amplifier with vast tone shaping possibilities and quality of sound. It can cover any style of music and have it programmed and ready to call on when desired, what a luxury. I own the first of the series in a combo 1x12 and i had to have the latest in the 100 watt head version. I love this amp and have yet scratched the surface of all it has to offer and currently i play in a cover band that does from John Mayer to GodSmack. I can cop the feel and tone of the most diverse bands and know that i am not just half way to the mark with its individual and authentic sound.
Ease of Use:
If you are a beginner finding out by yourself how to get what you imagine can be a daunting adventure. But still intuitive to a degree, if you just use your ear. But gear freakin'geeks also get enough depth on board to make them scratch their heads and discover the subtleties it has to offer.
Support:
Never had needed it so far.
Overall:
I would like another one so i can play in stereo other than that it is a whole lot of amp and replacing it soon would just be vane.

"Assimilate or Die, This AMP is FOR METAL!!!!"
Feature:
The amp comes with a good footswitch unlike the regular 6505. Its actually durable and has 3 buttons, 1 for clean and lead, 1 for crunch, 1 for effects. The tubes in it are great, I believe there 6L6's. The amp is all round awesome.
Quality:
This thing is built like a frickin tank. I purchased this one Blemished and there wasnt any scratches, or dings, or anything wrong with it. I was beyond impressed with how built this thing was.I think ill have it till I die.
Value:
This amp is pricey but worth it. You get what you pay for, if you buy a 400 Bugera head, Its gonna break, if you buy a Peavey that been around forever, its going to last and give you some signature tones.
Desirability:
Its one sexy amp. It screams "SHRED ME"
Sound:
The is the king of Metal Amps. The sound is phenomenal. The cleans channels are really good and it has a crunch channel that you can click on the footswitch. I really enjoy using this thing, especially the lead channel. If you want a real metal amp with soaring leads, get this!
Ease of Use:
Piece of cake getting any tone from this. I can adjust my settings to get a ZZ top sound all the way down to an As I lay Dying tone. The amp is very adjustable and has no horizons and limits.
Support:
Havent talked to peavey but I give them a 10 for building an awesome amp that it wont break so I dont need to call the.
Overall:
I will have this till the world ends. If someone were to steal this thing, Id probably murder them, actually I would tie them to the amp and put it on 10 and blow there ear drums out, then drop it on them because its a tank. Plus I can test out the durability at the same time. AWESOME AMP!
Usual Price: $1199

"Orange is the new gold!"
Quality:
Built efficiently and like a tank. Clean, beautiful tolex. Looks great on stage. Can't go wrong with vintage 30's. The cabinet is thick, wich actually makes a difference. And the best part is it weighs around 75-80 pounds and it isn't awkward to carry. Doesn't take up any more space than a combo amp, which is great for touring.
Value:
Absolutely. Worth every dollar.
Desirability:
I've always been wanting an Orange setup of some kind...especially after seeing numerous reviews and videos online, not to mention seeing most of my favorite bands use Orange gear live and hearing how amazing it sounds and looks. Jamming with my band I feel so much more confident...it's like having a really good hand to play.
Sound:
This cab is dynamite!! So much to play with it's ridiculous! The sound is so clear and focused. No muffle. It delivers PUNCH better than any 4x12 I've ever played through. I'm playing a Mesa Boogie 2 ch Triple Rectifier, and let me tell ya...they are meant to be, like chicken and waffles!! I can crank this thing up LOUD and it doesn't lose it's clarity. Orange just blew my frickin mind.
Overall:
I may add another 2x12, or possibly experiment with other brands to add to it, but I don't think I'll be getting rid of this gem any time soon.
Usual Price: $699
