Quality:
It's just a regular XLR cable, but not as heavy and durable as more expensive cables.

Value:
It's very reasonably priced. Even though others have said that it doesn't work with phantom power, I have had no problems. I've used it with my CAD GXL3000 and MBox 2 Pro. It has never reset the interface or caused heat problems. It is balanced and works with 48V phantom power.
